Alan Johnson – Senior Consultant

Alan has 35 years of experience in sales and sales management. Prior to Business Efficacy Alan worked for 35 years with Wells Fargo (and its predecessor company, Norwest Corporation) Alan managed both line and staff functions. He held line responsibility for sales management during 21 of those years.

As part of his responsibilities he has led merger integrations with newly acquired banks in Minnesota, Indiana, and Oregon. This included integrating diverse cultures, clearly communicating vision and values, restructuring the organization, and establishing performance expectations within a common sales and service culture.

Alan’s teams earned a reputation for rapid and sustained improvement in sales and service performance, with productivity performance that ranked among the top 15% of peer regions. In Oregon and SW Washington his team grew revenue, profit, and core sales at double-digit rates for five consecutive years and grew market share from #4 to #2 when he retired.
