Kurt Theriault – Principal

Kurt TheriaultKurt has spent the past 16 years in sales, sales management, and sales productivity consulting. He is responsible for business and product development and helping spread the word about Business Efficacy's belief in the importance of sales management's role in driving sales execution.

Kurt has been with Business Efficacy since 1999. While with the firm he has helped guide clients through multiple sales change projects involving sales strategy installation, sales management effectiveness improvement, and sales force performance transformation.

Prior to joining Business Efficacy, Kurt held multiple sales and product management and marketing roles with Alliant Foodservice (now US Foodservice). It is while in his role with Alliant Foodservice that Kurt recognized the great disparity between the emphasis organizations place on preparing their sales teams for success and the lack of attention placed on developing managers to add value to that endeavor. After seeing both extremes Kurt decided to jump in with both feet to help build a company focused on closing that gap.

Kurt earned a B.S. in Finance from St. Cloud State University, is an avid reader of the latest business titles. He also serves as an active board member for the Sales and Marketing Executives Association of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
